Sam Ness & the Other Natural Flavors to perform at the Jensen Center November 9

The Jensen Community Center enthusiastically welcomes Sam Ness back to its stage in Amherst for a concert with his band, Sam Ness & the Other Natural Flavors, on Saturday, November 9. Ben Mulwana will kick off the show with a groovy rock and soulful sound.

Ness’ music mixes traditional folk/Americana roots with a new-age/alternative singer-songwriter feel. He said he finds inspiration in the ancient cobblestone streets across the globe.

A native of Sauk Prairie, Sam has performed in the ancient streets of Europe, the bustling bars of Bangkok and Phnom Penh, in the mountains of New Zealand, and the Highlands of Scotland. His music takes you places, letting his sharp intelligence and rich voice move your mind and tell the story within his poetry set to song. He and his band’s songs and stories are written with the intention of finding something more together; something sincere.

Ben Mulwana is a Ugandan-born and raised artist residing in Wisconsin. With songs about love, loss, and everything in between, Mulwana’s music has an afro-soul rock quality brimming with unique storytelling to start us off right.

Come early that night at 6 p.m. for a reception including sweet and savory handheld goodies from The Village Hive for purchase and a cash bar by the Jensen Community Center. Join us to eat, sip, mingle, and make it a fun evening out in Amherst!

Advance tickets are on sale now online at jensencommunitycenter.ticketspice.com/sn for $15. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door for $20.
