Be watching the front lawn at the Lettie W. Jensen Memorial Library on November 27, when a magical mailbox from the North Pole will reappear, and area children are encouraged to drop a letter to Santa in it by December 19.
Please include your name and full mailing address so Santa can respond. He gets so many requests each year that it helps if he doesn’t have to look up that information.
Santa’s elves told the Community Spirit that more than 135 Amherst-area children sent Santa a letter last year, and they’re hoping that even more do so this year.
