Lettie W. Jensen Library News Meet the new Library Director

By Kristi Ruggles

My name is Kristi Ruggles, and I am thrilled to be the new Library Director at the Lettie Jensen Library. My family is new to the Amherst community, but I have felt so welcomed already! My husband, Tomorrow River Schools District Administrator Ryan Ruggles, and I have three teenage children: Grace, Sam, and Jacob. As a family, we love to travel and be outdoors, so moving here was a perfect fit! I have a background in education as a high school English teacher for many years, so working with books and people comes naturally. I have a passion for literature, and I am excited to bring you an array of engaging books, events, and activities in the coming months. If you need anything, please just ask!
