“Construction” has been the word in the Amherst area for many months as the Jensen Community Center, Tomorrow River Schools, and Freddie’s Home Plate all moved forward with their individual projects. This month, the Community Spirit is pleased to bring you the first looks at these improvements to the Tomorrow River area.
The first stage of the Jensen Center’s 3Stage Expansion Project, the International Bank of Amherst Terrace, had its final cosmetic touches added in late October. An official ribbon cutting was held November 13.
The Tomorrow River Schools held an open house of its new Herbert and Evelyn Wolding Family STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Math) Center on Monday, October 14.
While they’re waiting until Spring to install the concession stand equipment, Freddie’s Home Plate held an open house Saturday, October 19, to show the new parking lot and pavilion, along with the many improvements to the ball park itself.
