Stepping Stone welcomes new stylist

By Brent Frankenhoff

Amherst’s Stepping Stone Salon and Spa recently added a new employee to its ranks. Liz Pacyna is from Stevens Point, joined the business in August, and told the Spirit that, “I look forward to meeting you all.”

Pacyna said that an ad for the salon was posted at her cosmetology school, and her grandmother is friends with owner Terri Singer, so she had multiple reasons to apply for a position.

“I am passionate about working with curls and textured hair the most because I have curls myself,” she said. “I offer coloring/chemical services, nail services, haircuts, perms, facials, waxing, and brow and lash services. I enjoy doing vivid hair colors. I also enjoy gel polish, manicures, and pedicures. I paint to perfection. I will turn a regular pedicure into a spa treatment. It’s all about the little details.”

The brow and lash services include brow lamination and tinting as well as lash lifting and tinting. “I’m very detail oriented and pay attention to the little things that make a service great,” Pacyna added. “I plan to add lash extensions in the near future!”

Pacyna said she’s building her clientele list and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. “To schedule an appointment with me, you can book online at steppingstonesalon.net or call the salon at (715) 824-3997,” she added. “Let me treat you from your head to your toes. I already feel the love of this community. The clients are so nice, from the senior citizens to the little ones; I enjoy working with them all.”
