The Amherst Fire District invites the public to its annual Open House on Sunday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to Noon at the Amherst Fire Station.
This free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities, including equipment demonstrations, car seat safety checks, kids’ activities, and opportunities to sign up for Hands-Only CPR. A pancake breakfast will be served during the event with a suggested donation.
Firefighters will be on hand to answer questions, provide tours of the station, and connect with members of the community. All are welcome to attend and learn more about the work of the fire district and how to stay safe in our homes and neighborhoods.
For more information, visit the Amherst Fire District’s Facebook page or contact the station directly.
The Jensen Community Spirit is mailed at no charge to property owners and residents within the Tomorrow River (TR) School District.
