After working as a baker at The Village Hive since 2014, Eleonore Nefelibata is the owner and chef of 13 Chairs, a restaurant with, literally, 13 chairs.

Located at 137 Main Street, and formerly known as The Swarm, 13 Chairs is a small restaurant specializing in vegan and vegetarian fare. Breakfast & lunch are served Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is available seven nights per week by reservation.

Nefelibata is available to cater events (weddings, memorials, birthdays, etc.) up to 150 people. Private parties, including Sunday brunches, anniversary celebrations, and book club meetings, are frequently held at 13 Chairs.

She said her dream for the business is to provide a unique, intimate space for patrons to enjoy traditional and exotic meals. Her biggest challenge in the first year of business has been navigating the COVID-19 pandemic with local regulars and patrons from Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Chicago.
