In the Jensen Center Display Cases

Visit the Jensen Community Center through mid-October to see the photography of Tom Parker. Tom grew up in Amherst and graduated from Amherst High School in 1969. His interest in photography started in high school, when he worked for the Falcon Flyer and the yearbook, spending a lot of time in the darkroom.

In college, he earned a degree in photography and has worked as a media/photographer technician running a portrait & wedding photography studio in Amherst and other studios throughout the Midwest. Tom has been retired now for nine years, living in Wisconsin Rapids, although he travels to Amherst often as he is an active volunteer in the restoration of the Amherst Opera House/Amherst Community Hall. He enjoys creating landscape images in the Tomorrow River area.

His images can be purchased at Village Gift in Amherst. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photography with us, Tom!
