Jensen Center refreshes two rooms

In early October, the Jensen Community Center continued ongoing updates of various rooms with four new windows installed in the Activity Room and two in the Conference Room. Todd Hornick (right) of Thor Construction led the project with help from Jensen Center Maintenance Supervisor Jim Groshek (center) and Christopher Cisewski (left). Also helping were masonry sub-contractor John Barkholtz (in orange shirt, center) and Jensen Center Board member Dennis Cook (not pictured).

Replacing the windows in the Jensen Center’s Activity and Conference Rooms began with Todd Hornick removing some of the exterior masonry and then cutting the old windows out of the surrounding walls (left). Placing the new units (above) took planning and plenty of muscle power. Fortunately, the weather cooperated, allowing Hornick and crew to get the job done before the cold temperatures really set in.
