Opening new doors at the Jensen Center

3Stage Expansion Project begins construction

Blenker Construction removed a window and cut a hole in the west wall of the Jensen Center’s Community Room May 20 to make way for a new set of double doors that will lead out to the new terrace scheduled for construction this Summer. That same day, demolition of the end walls of the existing soundbooth began in the Center’s theater to widen the room by more than seven feet, allowing more space for sound and lighting techs during performances. The booth’s door has also been relocated from one end to the other.
