Amherst Senior Sam Stuczynski, the son of Bob and Jennifer Stuczynski, will take to the gridiron one more time wearing the blue and white this summer, as he was chosen to participate in the 2025 Small School All-Star Game, which is hosted by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA).
During his Senior campaign, Stuczynski ran the ball for 486 yards and three touchdowns, while also gathering 60 tackles, three sacks, and two fumbles. As an upperclassman, Stuczynski has had back-to-back years on the all-conference team. He was selected Second Team All-Conference his Junior year and First Team All-Conference his Senior year.
Stuczynski said, “It feels rewarding to be able to represent Amherst at the All-Star Game. All of my hard work over the years seems to be paying off more than I would have thought.”
Stuczynski isn’t the only member of his family that has been selected for the All-Star Game. His older brother Sawyer, who is currently a Junior defensive linemen at UW-Stevens Point, was selected for the All-Star Game in 2022.
Stuczynski said, “When I watched my brother play in the All-Star Game back in 2022, I knew that had to be a goal I set for myself after witnessing the awesome memories he was creating while benefiting Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Though this year will be different as I will be playing and he will be in the stands, I feel the experience will be just as memorable as we both support each other, so I know he will be as happy for me as I was for him when he played.”
The 2025 Small School All-Star Game will be played on July 19 at Titan Stadium on the campus of UW-Oshkosh, with all proceeds of the game going towards Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
When asked about how the community can help, Stuczynski said, “I have a link on my Facebook page that takes you directly to my fundraising page. Or they can search WFCA All-Star Charity Football Games and it will take you to the donation page.”
Free tickets to the game are available by calling or texting (715) 572-3586.
