TR Conservation Club partners with TR School District to promote outdoor involvement

The Tomorrow River Conservation Club has partnered with the Tomorrow River School District in many ways over the years, with a focus on promoting the outdoors.

One of the more recent and ongoing events has been a monthly gift card drawing for students who submitted a picture to the “Fur, Fin, and Feather” board. Kevin Vander Laan manages picture submissions and the drawings and has seen increased excitement and involvement among students since the gift card drawings first began in September 2021.

Winners are asked to attend one of the Conservation Club’s monthly meetings, and most are willing to share the story behind the picture with club members. The Conservation Club has also started a partnership with the Waupaca School district, where Dave Peterson has volunteered to manage logistics in that district.

Members of the Tomorrow River Conservation Club and managers of its “Fur, Fin, and Feather” gift card program join 2022-2023 school year gift card winners.
