Plans are in the works to offer an evening Farmer’s Market in downtown Amherst on Thursday evenings from May through October. Titled “The Night Market on Main,” and scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings, organizers Lindsay Rockefeller and Amy Powers told the Spirit, “We are looking for a handful of vendors to sell locally grown produce and goods at the market. So, if you have extra seeds to start and plants and veggies to sell, sign up. We want to support our local growers and have those in Amherst be able to buy local produce and other goods.”
