VFW and Village receive design award

VFW Post 11346, American Legion Post 22, and the Village of Amherst recently received a concrete design award from the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association for the Veterans Memorial at Guyant Park. Pictured (left to right) are: Lynn Thompson and Judy Emerson of Post 11346, Village of Amherst President Dave Crubaugh, and Thomas Dunbar of Alchemy Concrete, Nelsonville. The Veterans Memorial at Guyant Park was a concept of Thompson’s with design and construction assistance from Alchemy Concrete. Donations for future Veterans Memorial projects can be arranged by contacting Thompson at (715) 824-4415.
