Rising Star Mill Art Show and Sale scheduled for Memorial Day weekend

Among the vendors at this year’s Rising Star Mill Art Show and Sale are Mary T. Murphy (right) and Jim McKnight (left).

Join local artisans at the Rising Star Mill in Nelsonville Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day for the Mill’s art show and sale. The sweet smells of spring and summer will be in the air, accompanying the vendors selling their creations and showing their skills at one of the oldest mills in Wisconsin.

In addition to local art, activities include music on the Mill’s dock and such refreshments as BBQs, treats, and beverages in the feed sack room. There is plenty of outdoor seating space for relaxing while eating and enjoying the music.
